ARIZONA BIKER... where we began and where we are going.

I started AZ BIKER back in 1998. I have been a rider in Arizona for a good portion of my life. There were a couple of websites that had adequate information, but just didn't give me what I was wanting when I went to a site to find run and event information. Information on the lifestyle, new products coming out of the local motorcycle industry, a good list of events throughout the state, etc. Did you know that at one time Arizona had the higshest number custom builders per capita of riders than anywhere else in the country? Stuff like that.

So back in '98 I started up Arizona Biker, doing magazine style interviews, featuring local builders and riders; letting people know what was happening in the community, doing feature stories on runs and events, posting photos, all the like. I don't want my website to be all about the "money", so the events calendar will be populated with events put on by real bikers, listing only businesses that support our causes and are biker friendly.

I have been actively involved in the Modified Motorcycle Association of Arizona and ABATE of Arizona. I was the District Manager of MMA-Verde Valley District, Verde Valley District Board Member of MMA and MMA State Communications Officer. Today I am just a regular member, concerned with what is happening in the state.

A few years ago my family and I moved out of state. So now... we are coming back and so is Arizona Biker.

I will bring back the site that so many of you loved and bring back the magazine styling that made it so popular. Come April you will see a whole new ArizonaBiker.com with more rider information, event coverage, features with photos, and real interviews with real riders, and builders. Until then, please take advantage of the information provided to make your rides more pleasureable.

Ride Safe,
AZ BIKER
